Mrs. Jesse Koyle Called by Death
Former Springfield Citizen Dies in St. Thomas
Mrs. Isabella E. Koyle, wife of Jesse Koyle, well known
retired Michigan Central-New York Central section foreman, died at the
family residence, 30 Lydia street, city, Monday morning, following a
lengthy illness.
Mrs. Koyle was well known and most highly esteemed, in St. Thomas, in
Springfield, Ont., and in other places along the Canada Division of the
M.C.R.-N.Y.C. where she and her husband lived.
Mrs. Koyle was born in England, 73 years ago, coming to Canada as a
child with her parents. [BWB: actually, her parents died in England...
did her husband know the real truth?] Following her marriage to
Mr. Koyle, they lived at Springfield for some years.
Mrs. Koyle was a member of the United Church of Canada, a past noble
grand of Supreme Rekebah[sic] Lodge No. 251, and was a past Ashayhi of
the Ladies of the Orient, No. 16.
